EDM Drilling
Electronic drilling though hardened steel up to 3mm diameter.Electric discharge machine drilling is used for drilling holes from 0.5mm up to 3mm through hardened steel, carbide, or almost anything that conducts electricity. This makes it very useful for the die industry where start holes for wire cutting need to be drilled into a hardened die or carbide blank for tooling. This machine is very handy for removing broken taps and cutters from work pieces as well.
